Preparation is a team sport
One IBM
When it started to become public knowledge that I was selected to join this program, I was met with excitement, joy and pride.
This program is so well known by the organisation that everyone acknowledged that while it is once in a lifetime for some, this is an opportunity to make lasting impression and impact to those we help on site.
What caught me by surprise was the willingness to make my preparation and time in Morocco as easy as possible. This may have been in form of a new laptop which was lighter and has a better battery; the client team offering to support my role in my absence or even as simple as opening their networks in Morocco for any assistance we may need.
The entire company has been able to come together and make things as easy for my team and I so we can focus on the task at hand.
So what is the task ...
The objective will be to write up a strategy allowing for a local not for profit in Morocco to expand internationally.
Not a small task indeed but, all of Morocco's ICT sector will be the recipients of this work so we will ensure they get something of value and that can be implemented.
